The next time you see the
movie Back To The Future III, be
sure to look for Texas rockers
ZZ Top in a cameo role. They
play in the band that is
    performing in the Hill Valley
    party scene where Doc asks
    Clara to dance.

    That's ZZ Top drummer Frank
Beard who twirls his snare drum
    around as the band breaks
    into song.
Although there is
some debate among
collectors about what
was the last
commercially
released 8-track tape
by a major label, many
agree it was
"Fleetwood Mac's
Greatest Hits"
(November 1988).
Some independent
artists have
continued to release
8-track tapes to
this day.
The all-time most
nominated Grammy
artist is Quincy
Jones with 77
nominations to date.
He is also the
producer of two of
the top-selling
records of all time:
the album
Thriller,
by pop icon Michael
Jackson, which sold
104 million copies
worldwide, and the
charity song “We
Are the World."
