Favorite Jimmy Clanton Song: "Venus in Blue Jeans"
Jimmy, I saw you perform years ago in the seventies at the Benchmark Lounge at the Holiday Inn in Bay City, Texas. You were
wonderful and still are. I purchased a yellow/gold-colored LP at the performance for $20.00. Over the years, it has been
misplaced. I was wondering if that album is still available and that I might purchase it? It was a great album and am so sorry to
have lost it. Also, I would love to have an autographed picture.
Jimmy's album is no longer available, but most of the songs on it are available on the exclusive CD, ONLY THE BEST, by
clicking here. These are the original versions of the original hits, beautifully digitized and remastered. If you don't want to
order online, you will find mail and fax order forms available. As long as the venues allow, Jimmy typically signs CDs, photos
and momentos freely after each of his shows. For those unable to attend his shows, we have worked out an arrangement
with Jimmy to make autographed photos available (click here to order). We wish you the best, and we thank you for helping
to keep the greatest music alive!

Dear Mr. Clanton, I think I saw you once in a radio broadcast booth in a mall in the York, PA area. This was in the early 70s.
Please help me with my memory. Could that have been you? Thanks.
Your memory is good. For a time Jimmy showed that he could spin the vinyl platters as well as he could record them. He
worked at WHEX in Lancaster after he and his family settled there for several years. It was a time of great memories for both
Jimmy and his fans there.

Favorite Jimmy Clanton Song: "Just a Dream"
While stripping wallpaper, I decided to play some enthusiastic music to help me. When "Just a Dream" came on, I decided I
had to stop and find out how Jimmy is doing and if he still tours. I saw him several years ago and had the opportunity to meet
him and have him autograph my 45's. Thanks, Jimmy! This is great! I can't wait for more news and appearance dates.

As a Red Hatter, I want to thank you for recording the Red Hat Woman CD just for us. What an honor! I enjoyed the entire CD
as it brought back memories of the 50's and 60's.

Love your website! It is grand to know that you are still performing, and I hope that you plan to come to New York, soon! I
have been a fan since 1957-58, and have a photo of you with Alan Freed backstage at the Brooklyn Paramount! You still have
that same beautiful smile, Jimmy, and I hope to meet you in person again! God Bless!!!

It's on its way...anything for the Number One fan in the Netherlands! Rots en broodje! (Or is it "de rots en het broodje"?)

Favorite Jimmy Clanton Song: "Just A Dream"
I've been a fan ever since I they first put electricity in our Indian Reservation house and I could hear you. That was in 1965. I
sure wish I had been able to see you in person and hear your actual voice. I wondered where you were, then I saw you on
PBS and it brought back such memories of your unique voice and face.

Jimmy, I was a student at Fort Leonard Wood Middle School when you were there for your basic training in the early Sixties.
You preformed at our school. I think of you often and wondered what happened to you. Thank you for being a part of my
young life, and also for being part of my memory bank.

immy was a part of our baseball team in the Summer of 1950 or 1951 in Coffeeville, AL. We enjoyed his success so much after
knowing him before the success came.

Great interview on George Klein's Elvis Radio Show!!!
Lacy J. (Smithville, AR)
Hi Jimmy! I heard your interview with George Klein last week on Elvis Sirius radio and just had to visit your site! I am 24 and a
huge huge fan of the 1950's. For many years now, I have daydreamed about being my age (or younger) during that time. I
love the music, clothes, movies and stars of that time the best! Hey! I even have 5 poodle skirts and 2 pairs of saddle shoes
that I love to dance in. I wanted to say that I love your music, especially "Just a Dream," because I can close my eyes and
picture myself slow dancing in the dark with my special beau. Thanks Jimmy! Rock on! I look forward to seeing you someday
soon at Tunica.

I just heard you on Sirius 13 Elvis Radio with George Klein. Wow, what a blast from the past! I was so in love with you and
your songs when I was growing up. You were one of my very favorites. Reading your testimony gives me great hope. I will
be checking back on your site to see what's up. I've gone to John Osteen's Lakewood Church a few times when in Houston
and love Joel Osteen. Praise God for you recognizing Him on your website. May the Lord bless you. I live close to Branson
so will watch for you to perform there or in Tunica at the Horseshoe. Would love to see you in person!

Hello Jimmy...again. You were singing many years ago at the Holiday Inn in Houston, Tx. I invited my cousin to come and see
you. My cousin was not a believer. We arrived a little early and the lounge was empty so we sat down just to wait. Low and
behold you came out and sat down with us and you began to share all about Jesus. It was so cool. Just want to say thanks for
being a great witness for Jesus.

The Trio-Westboro-Teen Club brought you to Tulare, California in the early Sixties. A group of us from Porterville, California
went to see you and had a ball. I still have your autograph and picture. That was good fun! Thanks for the memories.

Hi, I am Assistant Editor of The Big Beat Of The 50's, a magazine here in Melbourne of the Australian Rock 'n' Roll Appreciation
Society. I recently bought the Red Hat Woman CD, and also some autographed photos. I am doing an article on Jimmy. I am
looking for a discography of Jimmy's singles/LPs up to '64, if possible with label and numbers.
It is being added to the Website soon. Thanks for your interest.

Oh my goodness! I had no idea Jimmy Clanton had a website. Here I am remembering such wonderful memories of years ago
as a teenager. One afternoon we knew Jimmy was gonna perform on the Dick Clark's show at the Little Theater, so a girlfiend
and I headed for there hoping to spot him. We ended up in a alley at the stage door. No one was there except us two star-
strucked fans. A taxi stopped at the theater and out steps Jimmy Clanton. What are the chances of that ever happening?
Boy, was he cute! He was friendly. We asked him for his autograph. It was a great moment, always remembered and much
enjoyed. So glad Jimmy is doing well.
Johnny B. (Charlotte, NC)
I am building an autograph collection of Rock and Roll legends. How can I get one of Jimmy Clanton?
After his shows, Jimmy loves spending time with fans and he signs photos, CDs and momentos as long as the venue allows.
Via mail, we make several autographed photos available. Click here to order your copy.

Favorite Jimmy Clanton Song: "Just A Dream"
I can't tell you how happy I am to have found your very own website!!! I have loved you(!) and your music and voice since I
was a teeny-bopper, a very long time! I have a photograph of you and Alan Freed, backstage at the Brooklyn Paramount
Theater, from 1959. I also have onstage photos of you with the Skyliners and JoAnn Campbell. Although I had attended Alan
Freed's presentations from 1957 to 1959, regretfully, that show that you appeared in with him was the last that this Brooklyn
Girl ever attended. Thank goodness, Jimmy Clanton is alive and still kicking!!! I see that your fan mail comes from "the
globe," and I am so happy that so many other people appreciate your talent. Just a small "whisper" from an old friend, an
'older' lady now, in New York, to an old friend who came from Baton Rouge, Louisiana...I loved you then, and I am so full of
joy that these young folks appreciate your songs today!!! Only question is, when are you coming to New York??? I hope to
see you soon!

are well. Please let me know how i can acquire a copy of your Gospel CD. Thanks a million.

I just heard the interview with George Klein on the Sirius Radio Elvis Channel. What a guy!!! You still have it and I am
proud to be of the 50's and 60's generation. They were the best years. If only we can bring them back. I have been married to
the same wonderful guy for 42 years now and we are happier than ever. We are hoping to make your next concert. Thanks
for keeping the music alive!!!!!

I was a member of the Jimmy Clanton Fan Club and I still have my membership card dated 7-15-59. My fan club #139 and
membership dues were 25 cents per year.
Wow!

I just want to say hello. Your grandmother, Janie Clanton and my grandmother, Ruby Pace were sisters. Too bad we did not
get to know each other well as kids. I did buy and listen to your 45's. Glad to know you are still at it!

Favorite Jimmy Clanton Song: "It Takes Long, Long Time"
Actually I really like many more of your songs, but this one is lively and you can move to the music. I find that there does not
seem to be a complete song listing or sessionography of all the songs Jimmy has done. This would be a great benefit for all
those fans that would like to have a list.
Check back. It is coming soon.

I grew up with Jimmy, Elvis, Ricky, Fats, Jackie and many more greats. These singers don't need last names to recognize
them. I, too, was hell raiser back in my day. I am so glad you got saved, I did too. I would like to hear you sing some Gospel
songs.
